Haley Holzworth found her lifelong passion of designing jewelry at the young age of twelve with an inherited collection of vintage jewelry that she reconstructed into new designs. Two decades and thousands of designs later, Haley seeks inspiration for her jewelry line from various color combinations, distinct textures, and the organic progression associated with the changing of seasons. A native to Charleston, SC, she is influenced by the Southern lifestyle and the coastal landscapes of the Lowcountry.
Hermosa means “beautiful” in Spanish, which defines this unique Southern brand of bold and colorful designs. Hand selected semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, colorful crystals, vintage findings and chain, eclectic pendants, and unique clasps are the main ingredients of these multifaceted designs.
The quality and detailed craftsmanship of Hermosa Jewelry is what sets it apart from the rest. Each piece is designed with love and assembled by hand at the Hermosa Flagship Store and Studio in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Timeless style and use of fine materials ensures that each handmade bauble will make a statement for years to come. Guaranteed to turn heads, Hermosa Jewelry is the ultimate accessory for any occasion. Haley also specializes in custom bridal jewelry for brides, bridesmaids, flower girls, readers, and family of the bride and groom. You can purchase Hermosa Jewelry at the flagship store in Mt. Pleasant, SC and also in boutiques, spas, exclusive resorts, and at various events.
About Haley Keisler Holzworth
In 2002, Haley sold her first pieces to some fashionable ladies at a law firm, where she worked part time in high school. Customers began hosting jewelry trunk shows for her friends, and local boutiques and salons began carrying her line. She continued running her successful jewelry business from high school and into college. Haley attended the Darla Moore School of Business and was a founder of the Entrepreneurship Club. During her senior year at USC, Haley won a school wide business competition and was accepted into the USC Technology Incubator. She received start up capital, rent-free office space, accounting software, consulting and other beneficial business tools. Graduating from the University of South Carolina, Haley majored in International Business and Marketing and minored in Spanish. Inspired by Haley's semester spent in Seville, Spain and her study of the language, she changed the name of her company to Hermosa which means beautiful.
Continuing her business full time after college, Haley decided to expand her jewelry line out West to Colorado. Haley packed up shop and moved to Vail and then on to Denver, where she lived for almost four years. She fell in love with Colorado and spent her weekends camping, hiking, and skiing in the Rocky Mountains. She sold her jewelry in luxury hotels and resorts, home shows, and art markets across the state.
After realizing her life was shifting back to the East Coast, Haley relocated back to her roots in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. She opened the flagship Hermosa Jewelry store in September of 2017.
